Waited a hour for food for them to tell me I never paid for the food but luckily I had the receipt and was refunded. Bartender only serving regulars I got one drink the whole time I was there and they kept bringing half full bottles from the back so I’m not sure if the drinks are even straight up. Made me pay %18 tip when the service wasn’t worth a tip at all.
Younger security guard needs to be fired! I walked outside to walk my auntie to her Uber, tired to go back in to the birthday party I was attending and he grabbed my jacket even though I was only going back in to ask about the plans. He’s overly aggressive for no reason even though I spent well over $200 in this establishment. Will not be back
Positives first:music was nice it was very clean food came out fast Negatives: waiters look annoyed and bothered No food substituting, tables are high n uncomfortable two different tables both were rocky food over priced very small portions menus says one price they charged a different price said menu needed to be updated Not a bad experience but not great better service n give people what they pay for and it would be better
Previous review. Brooklyn Dent is my daughter, three of us went to order takeout. My daughter and her friend’s takeout order was 47 dollars because of the 8 dollar gratuity charge for a takeout order and I was also charged 8 dollars for my takeout order it was 3 of us. That’s 16 dollars and we waited 40 mins and didn’t even have a glass of water. It was not 20 people in our group. It was only one others customer there. The few times I was invited to birthday brunches there the food was excellent and the service was great! This time was the opposite.
Service was minimal most of the interaction was handled by the person at the front, not the server that took my to go order so the %18 gratuity for 3 people on a to go order charge felt inappropriate and misleading. I wouldn’t have minded tipping if the service matched, but automatic gratuity on a takeout order without clear disclosure isn’t okay.
Food was great. A little salty but still delicious. The lights are too bright. They should make it darker to give it more of a night club feel. Great vibes and amazing music. All hip hop and rnb which is my favorite. Amazing security - Ali is the best!
I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and was very impressed by the exceptional bartending skills of Deja. She was very friendly and professional. She was very attentive to each customer and was still very quick making great drinks. The chicken wings were awesome too.
I enjoyed part of my visit here. Shanice, our waitress was great. Gouda grits were delish, so we're my salmon croquettes. My husband enjoyed his Sunday bruch breakfast. My father like his chicken. My pinkest margarita was good. I have 2 complaints though. My husband is disabled and I have an elderly father and wanted a table and not a bar stool. I was told by the bartender that they don't have any. Really, that is against the law for a public place not to have handicapped accommodations. We sat at a booth, which was awkward to eat, so my elderly father made a heck of a mess. I also asked that the music be turned down just a little. I had to text my husband to talk, and my father, I couldn't communicate with him at all, so he just sat there staring off into space. The food was excellent and I would recommend it if you want food to get takeout. It wasn't a comfortable environment. Not only was it loud, it was vulgar music. Perhaps they have a time to accommodate older handicapped people who want to converse. I usually TikTok everything, I wish I had this experience. Too bad the atmosphere clouded over what could have been a wonderful experience. I try hard to patronize and publicize black owned businesses, but this one I can't recommend.
